Dear Parents,
Thank you for your very generous gift.
My husband and I love going to Rock Salt and I'll make very good use of the Westfield card.
I might share the chocolates or maybe not???
It has been a privilege teaching and caring for your child every day. It is also a bit sad to say goodbye to my students as they leave Kindergarten and move onto Year 1.
We have had a lot of 'first' experiences together and that is what makes Kindergarten so special. To see their delight and enthusiasm in the smallest things each day is just lovely.
They have grown so much over the year in maturity and confidence and I'm very proud of them.
Enjoy this precious time together as they grow up so quickly.
Have a happy, safe and restful holiday.
God bless your families,
Leanne Blake

Last Buddies visit for 2014
Hello Everyone,
Today Kinder and Year 5 had their final buddies activity. The aim was to make a Nativity stable and add some animals with baby Jesus.
It has been wonderful to see the interactions and relationships that have grown throughout the year and the confidence that Kinder have with the older children. It was also lovely to see lots of hugs at the end of the session today.
Next year, we hope that KB and 5Y may have the same buddy or at least get to say 'hi' to each other in the playground.

Celebration with Year 2
Hello Everyone,
Kinder had a wonderful time at Year 2's celebration event.
We were invited to eat first and enjoyed fruit, cakes, slice and dip with veggie sticks.
After we had eaten, KB girls played musical statues and then swapped with the boys to find the 'treasure' in the maze for a lolly prize.
Thank you Year 2 for a terrific celebration. KB really had a great time.

Hello Everyone,
Year 6 planned a wonderful fundraising event today. Our students loved participating in all the activities.
Thanks to Year 6 and their teachers for such a successful afternoon event. There will be some very tired children tonight!

Snapshots of week 8
Hello Everyone,
It's been a very productive week for catching up on lessons in Science and HSIE.
In Science, the students were given the task of experimenting with a variety of equipment to discover which items could roll. We had some interesting discussions that linked to 3D objects in maths about the curved and flat faces of an object.
In our second Science lesson, the students had to construct two ramps. One bumpy and one smooth and roll a variety of items down the ramps. Observations and discussion followed up an interesting lesson on how to conduct a 'fair test'.
Year 2 have been studying celebrations for their HSIE unit this term. As part of the unit, they have to plan an event, organise food, games and invitations. They delivered their invitations to Kindergarten on Thursday. We are looking forward to the celebration on Monday and suggest a light lunch again for Kindergarten.
