'What's Alive?'
Hello Everyone,
Kindergarten have had another industrious week.
We have particularly enjoyed listening to the Show and Tell talks about human, plant and animal life cycles.
The students have been able to identify and name the different stages of the lifecycle they have chosen for this week. Very impressive!
Here is a plant hothouse used in todays Show and Tell.
As part of our 'What's Alive?' unit we are looking after a class pet. The students are learning about how to care for an animal and what animals need for survival.
Here is KP's Hermit Crabs.

Kindergarten Writing is Taking Off
Hello Everyone,
Hope you have enjoyed the wonderful week of warm weather.
This week we would like to share some writing work samples that Kindergarten have been working on.
Here are some holiday recounts.
On the holiday I went to the park for a picnic.

On the holiday I went to the swimming pool. I went with my daddy. I raced my daddy.

On the holidays I went to the movies to see Mr Peabody and Sherman. I went with Mum, Dad, Rachael and Mahalia.
I had fun.

After fete day the students were asked to a write a recount of the day.
On Fete Day I went to the classroom to show my mum my work in the classroom.

On Fete Day I went on the super slide and got my face painted.
We went in the PAC and we sang songs.

On Tuesday we went to the Athletics Carnival. I went in the running race. It was my favourite thing.

Presentation Of Cross Country Ribbons
After our cross country we had an assembly to present ribbons to the amazing runners.

Hello Everyone,
We had a beautiful, warm, sunny day on Friday for our third and final attempt at running the Cross Country.
It was a new experience for Kindergarten to walk up to Billa Rd Oval.
They were eager to have a go and all bravely ran as fast as they could when it was their turn.

Treasure Hunt With Buddies
Hello Everyone,
On Tuesday, Kindergarten and Year 5 Buddies went on a Treasure Hunt as part of our letter of the week activity for 'Hh'.
There was much excitement in finding animals, things that started with different letters, things made out of plastic, wood and metal.
There were some great ideas and some very unusual items found.

Welcome to Term 2
Hello Everyone,
Welcome back to Term 2.
The weeks are flying past already as we find ourselves at the end of Week 2.
We were enthralled by the Opera performance and disappointed by the cancellation of the Cross Country again!
Infants commenced the Bounce gymnastics program with much enthusiasm. Enjoy some of the facial expressions in the photos.
We have also been rehearsing for our choir item that will be performed at the Fete and Open Day.
